After reading Levi’s post, creator of the WordZe keyword research tool, on “Superstar Keywords” where he made over $150,000 in 18 months by watching E! News every night and blogging about celebrity news and gossip, new social media website Media Predict makes a ton of sense. Let me tell you why!
Levi capitalized on the buzz created by E! News to drive traffic to his blog. He monetized the traffic with AdSense and I assume affiliate revenue streams. Now, take Media Predict, a website where people can post events in the media, then trade in virtual dollars in the success of certain types of media, whether it be a movie, television show, album or book release. The idea is that the higher the stock price of the particular type of media, the higher the chance that the medium will be successful, in the eyes of the users anyways! If this doesn’t make sense, watch below:
So whats the connection between Levi’s blog and Media Predict? Well if Levi can single handedly generate over $150k by creating a blog based on the celebrity gossip reported by E! News, imagine what the thousands of users of Media Predict can do by predicting and reporting on media buzz before it happens. and then having pages of its website well positioned in natural search results when the user’s media predictions actually come into fruition!
I’m guessing $150,000 will be change found in the couch for Media Predict, but thats just my prediction!
