I have good news for you! Kind of…

Every time Apple decides to do a refresh of its product line it seems like it is met with mixed emotions. There is always that one group of people that are not hardcore Apple enthusiasts that have no idea that Apple is about to update their product specs and just happen to place an order for a new iMac or Macbook Pro the day or week before the refresh is announced.

Poor, poor souls! I feel for you. I really do! In fact, my brother did the exact same thing this week. His new Macbook Pro arrived, he turned it on, configured it, opened up Safari and was greeted by the Apple front page which announced the new Macbook Pro laptops with 802.11n, Nvidia8600M GT, and 2.4ghz Intel Core 2 processors. He was “pissed,” as he put it, and called Apple up and let them know what happened.

So whats the good news? They gave him a $200 refund!
