Dear Spock.com,

Why did you decide to spam my whole email address book today without my permission? I understand that you are a vertical ‘people’ search engine, but that doesn’t give you the right to invade on ‘my peoples’ and solicit them to join your search engine without my permission. Yes, I did check my settings to see if there was a place where I mistakenly indicated that it was OK for you to take advantage of my address book like this, and such a setting was nowhere to be found. If there is a privacy setting that I overlooked, I do apologize, but I suggest making it much more noticeable in the future! If you want to be a search engine for the people, respect the people who use and enjoy your service!
